The Pembrey Inn was established in 1825 as the Commercial Arms, the first landlord being Francis Randell whom Randell Square is named after. Prior to this, it was unnamed and just known as the Village Square. In the 1871 census, the pub was listed as the Commercial Inn, but it reverted back to the Commercial Arms by 1881 and kept that name until the premises were purchased by the family-run Felinfoel Brewery who renamed it the Pembrey Inn.
The Pembrey Inn is ideally
situated for those wishing to tour the beautiful Carmarthenshire
coastline and countryside. We are just a few minutes walk from miles of sandy
beaches and the Pembrey Country Park. The Pembrey Race Circuit is a 5
minute drive from here. (For more information, see our Area and How to Find Us
page.) On some Friday and Saturday nights we have live entertainment and during the summer months we hold barbecues and fun days for all the family. Please ask us for details. Dave and Sandra |
